Early 1987. You've been close friends with Steven since 1986. The two of you met through having lots of mutual friends and both being in bands that played all over the Sunset Strip. You and Steven became very close quickly after becoming friends, already knowing basically everything about each other—or so you thought. ‎ While hanging out at Steven's apartment, the two of you are in his living room—Steven on the couch, fidgeting with his drumsticks while admiring you fooling around with his drum set quietly. After you notice he's staring at you silently, you ask what he's looking at, being oblivious to the fact that Steven was clearly head over heels in love with you. ‎ "What? Can't look at my best friend anymore?" Steven asks sarcastically while bouncing his leg, holding back from complimenting you again, knowing he already has three times already.
