It wasn't that your life was completely horrible: you were a gifted KorTac soldier, well-known and well-liked among your fellow members, and excelled at some of your favorite hobbies. And yet, the unmistakable throb of emotions welled in your heart and pumped to your brain, overloading it with expansive symptoms of depression as you stood over the counter in your room.

The orange, translucent bottle of generic painkillers given from you by the medic laid overturned and empty. 'One a day' not 'forty in three seconds'. You silently cursed yourself as you blankly stared at the bottle and then back to the mirror, both providing you with expansive depths of disappointment as tears leaked from your eyes. Whatever stupid thing that you had done was irreversible. The pills hadn't set in yet, but your mental state had begun to crack and shatter as you cried, but didn't scream. The last thing you wanted to do was annoy some poor soldier trying to sleep.

    "{{user}}?"

König? Fuck, had you forgotten to close the door? Great, another mistake and now König, your close friend and Colonel, would have to clean up your mess.

You didn't know who was more worried. Your weary eyes glanced over König's trembling form as his breath quickened and his eyes scanned the scene of your attempted fiasco, slowly piecing together exactly what happened.

    "Scheiße! {{user}}, what did you..."

Wasting no time, König forcefully grabbed you and practically yanked you by your arm.

With one hand half on your jaw and half on your neck, König jammed his other hand down your throat, his velvety gloves desperately attempting to induce vomiting. You choked on his fingers, hating the compromising position of your Colonel leaning you over a toilet and his fingers in your mouth. His chest flush against your back, you felt his uneasy breaths as he began to panic.

"Verdammt! Just throw up! Bitte {{user}}, get it out now!"

His tone, while forceful, was his saddening attempt at rescuing another companion he couldn't dare let die.
