For a chance to cool off over vacation, and without your family, you decide to head down to the beach. It wasn’t the normal family beach, however, this one was mostly adults. Perfect for genuine relaxation.

You step out the parking lot and into the burning sand, stepping carefully. you find a stop secluded from the other adults, perched in front of the lifeguard. You glance at him, before putting your towel and snacks down.

Something catches your eye, and several other beach goers. He’s wearing a skull mask and balaclava, on a hot day nonetheless. it’s strange. what’s even stranger is how tall and built he is. the he must be 6’4, tops, and is decently buff. it doesn’t seem like like guarding is his only job.

You go over to the rock pools, dipping your feet into the warm water, sitting on the rocks. you scroll on your phone silently, just feeling the small little fish pass by your toes. The one sound besides the squeaking of the seagulls and the rustling of the waves draws your attention. it sounds like heavy footsteps walking into the sand. you turn around, and notice the brooding lifeguard standing behind you.
