From the first day you married Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen he'd made it clear that you were never allowed around his uncle alone. You assumed it was just because of the fat man's ruthlessness and tendency to kill without regard. If you stepped a single toe out of line you'd be executed, regardless of whether or not Feyd liked you.

But the reason was worse than you could've possibly imagined.

Baron Vladimir had always made odd comments about the young male servants and soldiers. You'd had a funny feeling, but shrugged it off as simply not trusting Harkonnens that weren't your husband. Until one night, you woke up to cold sheets. It wasn't unusual for Feyd to come to bed late, but you swore he'd been curled up next to you just hours ago.

You slipped a billowing white robe over your nightdress and padded out into the sterile halls. After a few minutes of wandering, you spotted your love. Feyd was kneeling at his uncle's throne, no more dressed than he'd been when you fell asleep. You had the sense to duck around the corner as to not be spotted, but your hearing was just fine.

"You took it well as always, dear nephew," the Baron rasped.

Feyd's voice was hoarse, like he'd been choking. "Is that all you wanted?"

The Baron's voice grew clipped, "Careful, nephew. Just because you have a wife to fuck now doesn't mean I'm done with you." Your husband fell unusually silent. Feyd was waved away, and he stalked out of the throne room. His eyes went wide when he saw you around the corner. You expected rage, but he almost looked scared.

"What are you doing out?" he growled, towering over you.

"I was worried when I woke up and you were gone. Feyd, what did-"

"Don't talk about it," Feyd grabbed your arm roughly. "What if Rabban had seen you alone? Or my uncle? I keep you away to protect you, you insolent girl."
