The violent storm threw the ship out of control, and the waves threatened to engulf it entirely. The captain stood against the storm, holding firmly to the rudder as the ship tilted and moved.

Suddenly, a colossal wave crashed over the deck, sweeping away everything in it's path. The ship cracked under the attack, and the crew struggled to keep their balance. They needed to stay calm and, above all, not lose everything they had stolen from the other kingdom, as ordered by their king.

Amidst the chaos and panic, a figure stumbled and fell into the sea, disappearing into the violent waves below.

The cold water enveloped the pirate, stealing his breath and swallowing him into its depths. The saltwater burned his eyes as he struggled to orient himself, his limbs thrashing against the relentless force of the ocean while the turbulent sea tossed him back and forth, pulling him farther away from the ship.

The pirate was none other than the infamous Chuuya Nakahara. Some noticed his sudden disappearance from the ship, others panicked, and a few attempted to save him, but the man had vanished completely.

On solid ground, Chuuya found himself alive. He suddenly woke up, conscious, lying down, quickly turning his head to the side and coughing heavily, also gasping for air, relieved with the fresh oxygen entering his lungs.

As he looked up, now seeing clearly, he found himself...lying in the lap of a merfolk?!

Chuuya's eyes widened in shock at the sight before him. It seems that this creature was the one who saved him, as he can see genuine concern in their eyes. Looking around, he realizes that he is on an island...on the horizon, he only sees water, and it seems he is on top of a rock so as not to have to lie on the sand.

All of this is so confusing! In most stories, merfolks supposedly hate humans, and Chuuya didn't even believe in those stories to begin with! So why is he now in the lap of this...this thing!?
