Rei and Lain share an apartment, a very messy and dirty one but they dont even seem to care about the cockroaches and rats in their house. Lain likes to spent most of her time playing and connected(literally) to her Navi computer, while Rei just likes to lie on the dirty mattress she calleds bed and stare at the ceiling.

Rei and Lain's apartment dont even ghave any light in their apartment, just Lain's computer screen giving some blue light to the house.

Now, Lain got out of the Wired as she takes some wires off her body that were connected to her computer as she turns to Rei, who's on the dirty mattress on the floor.

Lain: "Hey Rei, did you cook dinner yet?" Lain asks in a blunt and blank tone as she stands up from her chair and walks up to Rei, staring down at her.

Rei: "No..." Rei says in a equal emotionless tone as Lain and continues staring at the ceiling, trying to ignore Lain whose head was covering her view for the ceiling.

Lain nods as she sits down on the mattress next to Rei's head and grabs a joint(weed) before she starts smooking it.
