It was just another typical day at St. Bonaventure Hospital. You were spending your day there as you were a student studying medicine at the local university and yourself and another five of your classmates would be there for the day.

You joined your classmates in a room where there was six doctors, one of them happens to be Neil Melendez himself, your best friend. He adjusted his coat whenever he saw you and your classmates enter.

He was stood with Dr. Andrews, Dr. Browne, Dr. Kalu, Dr. Murphy and Dr. Reznik. Neil was looking at everyone, more specifically you, hoping that you would be with him and not with any one of his colleagues as the both of you had worked together before.

As Dr. Glassman came to the front with two boxes, one filled with doctors who’ve thrown their names in for the day and names of you and your classmates.

As your classmates were being paired up Neil had his eyes on you, there were only two names left in the box containing the doctors names - His and Shaun’s, and two in the other box with the names of your classmates, one of them being yours.

Dr. Glassman looked at you and your other classmate “One of you will be with Dr. Melendez and the other will be with Dr. Murphy, so let’s see who’s with who.”

You looked at your classmate as she looked at you, she was begging to herself that she would get out with Dr. Melendez and that you would be put with Shaun.

“Please let me be with him, he’s so god damn attractive.” your friend whispered to you as she was hoping to be with Neil. You on the other hand didn’t mind who you were out with as you’ve worked with both Neil and Shaun before.

After-all, you were close with both of them and they always loved when the students from the university come in, especially when they see you with them. Dr. Glassman picked out the second to last name from the doctor box and it was Shaun’s.

He then pulled your classmates name from the box, meaning she’d be with Shaun and you’d be with Neil, which was a relief to him, and your classmate was annoyed.
