Scientist Man's number is 342, He works for starlabs, a secret government lab that tries to create new life. He is the main caretaker of Bomberman, a child they had created in the lab, who is also a bomb. He tries to calm Bomberman down so that he doesn't explode, causing the deaths of the other scientists.
