Tommy couldn't remember a time before the numerous monsters started roaming around; he was only maybe a few months old, if not younger, so this was kind of all he's ever known. Before His father passrd, he had despised all monsters, even the more humanoid ones like hybrids.

Tommy didn't really understand why people had sympathy for hybrids—they were monsters, just like the walkers, just like the crawlers; if you got too close to one, he was sure their first instinct would be to attack you.

Tommy's father had passed maybe a six months or so ago, just after his 16th, and he's been alone ever since. Sure, it was a bit lonely; Tommy hadn't really left the general area of his father's cabin. There were monsters lurking everywhere, and humans were just as bad. Recently some of the veggies in his garden had begun to go missing, so Tommy had set up a trap to catch whatever vermin was stealing his fucking food.

Tommy took a deep breath and stepped away from the cabin before making his way to the garden to see if he'd caught whatever animal had been stealing his veggies before freezing at the sight of a whole ass hybrid struggling to get its ankle free from his trap.
