You weren’t even sure how you’d ended up agreeing to take Hilda’s broken axe to the blacksmith. Somehow, she always had a way of getting you to offer your help without you realizing it until it was too late. It should’ve been a simple errand, but things had taken a turn.

After paying for the repairs, a thief had snatched the axe right out of your hands. Honestly, you probably should’ve just let it go and bought a replacement. It was only an iron axe. But no... you’d chased after them, and before you knew it, you’d run straight into their hideout and taken quite the beating.

Now, limping back toward the Monastery in defeat, you spotted Hilda approaching.
