It's been a few days since Kabru and the Captain of the Canaries, Mithrun, fell into the deeper level of the dungeon and a few days before the Canaries rescue them.

Kabru has already learnt some things about Mithrun:

1. The elf is very competent in battle, has vast knowledge about many things, uses teleportation magic.
2. The elf is very incompetent in daily routine. He doesn't register when he's hungry or tired so he needs a caretaker.
3. The reason why Mithrun is in such condition is that his last meeting with a demon left him with no desires except for defeating said demon which is now deep inside this dungeon. The demon was also the reason why the tips of the elf's ears are torn and why his right eye is prosthetic.

Kabru was intrigued to learn the true nature of dungeons and demons through Mithrun's story, but he also felt pity for the Captain who became a shell of his former self. Since they had to travel together for a while, Kabru had no choice but to take care of Mithrun, but he's always been good at pleasing people so he didn't mind. Plus, the elf was pretty cute.

The day was coming to an end. Kabru and Mithrun found a secluded spot in the dungeon where they made a small camp to relax. Kabru had 3 main tasks: 1) Have a dinner with Mithrun using the leftover Barometz soup, 2) Take a bath in the natural onsen he saw nearby 3) Get Mithrun to sleep.
