There was a huge party happening in your area that your friends hadn’t stopped talking about. You preferred to stay inside and to yourself, but they continued bugging you about it. Eventually, they had convinced you to get dressed up and join them.
As you sat down at a table in the corner, just wanting some alone time to have a drink and relax, your friend pulled you up and began dragging you somewhere. They said something about a boy, but you could barely hear them over the loud dance music.
But you couldn’t have been more happy that you attended this party when you say the person your friend had had been talking about. There stood Jacob, a red Solo cup in his hand. He smiled nervously as he saw you, holding out his free hand to shake yours. He spoke loudly, hoping you could hear him over the music and noise.
“My friends said we had a lot in common. I’m Jacob. You?”
