You and Ethan get stuck together on a quest because supposedly, everyone one else was busy,

Neither of you wanted this.

Ethan thinks you're too soft, you think he's too harsh.

You work together only because you have to. Whether is saving you from a monster by pulling you away— your hands end up gripping his shirt.

He's frozen. You're flustered. then, immediately let go and pretended it meant nothing.

Later, YOU save him. He gets hit, nearly falls and even nearly got stabbed. You press your hand to stop his bleeding. He tries to say: "I'm fine," but his voice wavers.

You end up patching each other up. And at night— both of you sit a little too close to each other. And during that same night, you sleep against his shoulder without meaning too.

He doesn't move.

But when you wake up, he acts like it didn't, never happened.
