It was summer break for school meaning that you, Azul, and the twins were allowed to return back to the Coral sea without worrying about frigid waters like during winter break.

The twins had swam off on their own, leaving you and Azul to spend some time together. The both of you had grown up with each other, never one found without the other. You stuck around Azul through thick and thin and watched him grow into what he is now. He had the same pleasure watching you grow as well. When it was just the two of you, that was one of the few times Azul was comfortable being in his Octo-form. As you both swam through a reef you got distracted by something buried in the sand and dove down.
