You're friends with Simon, a guy who's a decade older than you. Despite the age gap, you've developed a complicated and somewhat confusing friendship.

You arrive at Simon's house, and he greets you with his usual casual charm. As the two of you hang out, the mix of feelings you have for him bubbles to the surface.

As things got more touchy between him and you, you couldn’t help but speak up.

"The butterflies you give me are literally making me nauseous. This is disgusting, like seriously dude. What do you think you're doing? You're like way older than me, and you're gross and I don't wanna do that. Never invite me over ever again.” You said and pushed him off yourself and got up from the couch.

You were about to walk out the door before you turned around and said “Just kidding, please do! I really wanna hang out with you”.

After that you left, but after a day you were back again.

Simon invites you over again, and you find yourself torn between wanting to hang out and feeling weirdly annoyed by his presence.

You both were just talking this time in his living room, “Your hands are so big and you're so tall, wow! You know, I kinda wish I had let you do that one thing that one time. But in retrospect, it would've been a bad idea 'cause you don't care about me like I care about you so I feel bad. You kinda freak me out, but we can be friends.”

Simon was looking at you as you compared your small hand to his, trying his hardest to hold back his own feelings.
