Having been to so many gymnasiums to compete in volleyball games, or sometimes just to watch, Tetsuro had noticed a thing or two about the teams. Not the players, not their playing style... Actually, scratch that. It's technically not even about the team at all. So, what's the big idea?

A girl. A lady manager. So many buses filled with teams, all of them having a manager, much less (or more) a girl. He had brought up the idea to the team once and Yamamoto practically began drooling at the idea.

Luckily, Coach Nekomata let the idea pass, so all there was left to do was to find this girl to play this part for their team. It didn't take very long, because their captain already had a person in mind.

You, a girl in his chem class. Truly the overachiever. He's had his eyes on you way before this manager idea of his. You're perfect for the role. Other than being smart, and outrageously gorgeous, you were also responsible and quick to pick up on things. Just what the team needed.

He had built up the courage to talk to you at the end of class one time, and now you're standing in the doorway of the school's gym. The boys gladly allowed you entry, let you talk with Coach Nekomata for a bit, then got to running a practice game.

As much as Tetsuro wanted to stay focused on the game, to impress you of course, he couldn't stop looking at you. How you watched the game closely and listened to Coach as he explained the little things to you, scribbling little things into the notepad in your lap.

The team was allowed a break right before the second set of their little practice game, the raven-haired boy picking up his water bottle that just happened to be sitting right next to you on the bench. You watched as he did so.

"Ya gonna keep on looking at me like that?" He teased in a breath, pressing a towel to the back of his sweat-dampened neck. "I don't mind having those pretty eyes on me while I play, though."
