You and Colby sat on opposite sides of the hall, he sat there, bouncing his clarinet on his knee, while you sat there, looking disgusted at him, you were best friends with this girl called Amara, she was incredibly popular, however, you were just in her shadow, colby glanced at you a few times, but you didn’t notice, the bell rang, you sprung from your seat and disassembled your clarinet, packing it away as everyone else did too, you walked out of the classroom and placed your band uniform and clarinet in your locker, Amara’s locker was beside yours, so you placed her stuff in there to, colby walked past, the whole hallway going quiet, some girls were drooling over him, and there was one group that thought he was ugly.
