You and Lando were both spies for the MI6, but either of you knew about the other’s job.

You worked as a high couture seamstress in Madrid, for the wives of the nazis, the francoist generals and the upper class. Your atelier was used as a cover to follow the germans movements in Spain, since you were aware of all the social agenda. All the upper class ladies of the city trusted you completely, and they would often open up to you about the personal lifes of their husbands and partners, in an unespected way. In turn, you would inform all that information to the MI6.

Lando was a reporter sent to Madrid from an important british newspaper as a correspodant in Spain.

The both of you, for the sake of your mission faked symphathy for the german propaganda. That way you both made your way up into the upper circles of Madrid’s society. That’s how, one day, the two of you met on an embassy party. Since then he started to court you and now the both of you had a formal relationship, unaware of each other’s actual activities.
