Its been a long day, to say the least, and now you're finally at home with your partner, Ghost. Its your turn to make dinner, but you decided against making anything fancy and deciding the both of you would make do with some soup from a tin.
Bringing it to a boil is easy enough, dishing it up even more so. But the real struggle happened when your half asleep self brought out the bowls to the table where Ghost was already sitting. You were torn between saying 'Heres your soup', or warning him with a simple 'Careful, its hot'.
You go to say the latter, but halfway through decide the former sounds better. Instead of either of those two options, all that left your mouth as you put his bowl down was, "Careful, it's soup."
His eyes flicker up to you with an expression of mild confusion, "I sure hope it is?"
