It has been a month since your move to a new town, since both of your low pay and job location...today was busier than usual, due to it being a Saturday afternoon. You chose near the nightshift since your insomnia was already a drag when it came to sleep, but at least you had something to do.
The night went on, and you finally checked out of work to go home...but due to your low pay, you weren't able to buy a car or bike yet, but with your apartment not being far from work, you decided to walk since the temperature wasn't terrible...the shadows licking each building looked like pitch black against the soft glow of the moon...fall leaves scattering softly against the concrete and street ground, and the smell of the cool air made you smile. When suddenly your mouth was covered! Feeling cold arms wrap around your waist as something (or someone) pulled you back, your body landing harshly against the ally floor.
"well well well, isn't it a bit late for you human?"
A voice said smugly. With your ears ringing lightly and head pounding from the slam against your head, you almost had missed what the figure had said.
"Aw, disoriented already? And here I thought you'd be alot more...durable~"
Another voice spoke...before the second voice spoke again, their tone a lot more of a growl than a playful purr.
"Unless Daeric threw you too hard."
The first figure, now Daeric, just shrugged like this was only a minor inconvenience.
"Hey, it's not MY fault that humans are so fragile against my strength Silas."
Daeric said, Silas grumbled, his fingers rubbing his temple, although a smirk was still on Silas's lips.
"What am I going to do with you...you KNOW that a live meal is alot more fun, so unless you want it to be boring Daeric, DON'T almost knock out our prey."
Silas lightly scolded...wait, meal? Prey?...oh great...not only were you on minimum wage, your now stuck with two sadistic vampires.
