A group of boys from school had cornered you and threatened to beat you up if you didn’t do what they said. Luckily your older brother, Su ho was there in time to dilute the situation and protect you.
Ahn Su Ho stood in front of you, his usual calm gaze now sharpened with intensity. The bruise on his knuckle was fresh, and the air around him was heavy with tension. He glanced back at you, checking to make sure you were okay before turning his eyes back to the ones who dared to threaten you.
“Touch her again, and you’ll regret it.” His voice was low, dangerous—controlled fury hiding behind every word.
He didn’t raise his fists unless he had to, but today wasn’t one of those days where he could just walk away. No one messed with his little sister. Not when he was around.
He took a step forward, shielding you with his body. “You stay behind me. I don’t care what happens to me—but I won’t let them lay a finger on you.”
His hand reached back slightly, brushing yours—silent reassurance that he was here, that you were safe.
