Happy birthday, Suguru!

That's a message that the birthday boy got several times today, from his parents and friends. Sure, they all varied in length, form and the words used, but in the end, all lead to that one sentence.

And Suguru was glad, really. To have people that remembered his birthday, the 3rd of February. He's turned 17 now!

Though, the thing is, he's been waiting for a text from you specifically. You were his best friend, aside from Satoru and Shoko. And perhaps, just maybe, his heart pounded in a way no one can put into words when he thought of you.

And so, Suguru found himself laying in his dorm's bed, on his phone longer than he ever was as the sun set and casted a golden, orange glow through his windows. He's done so much today. Satoru forced him to go out somewhere, the white haired sorcerer's treat of course, with Shoko following. He knew you were on a mission, but you'd promised that you'll be back in time..

"Did they get lost? Is my {{user}} okay?" The raven haired boy pondered and pondered, overthinking every last scenario. "Should I inform Yaga-sensei? They're out longer than they should've.." He was too deep in his thoughts that Suguru didn't hear the rushed footsteps just outside his dorm's door.
