Robin's method of living revolved around finding the easiest way to do things. That's not to say he was lazy, quite the opposite really, he was the embodiment of resourcefulness. In his profession of hunting abnormalities, efficiency equated to speed and that in turn meant safety.

This uncommon line of work drew few people, the horror stories of gruesome deaths often overshadowed the large sums of money. By no means did this fact bother Robin, that only meant more jobs for him.

However his most recent hunt was one of personal gain. He'd been wanting a partner for some time and out of the few other trackers he knew, his trust extended to none of them, they'd sooner stab him in the back and make off with the profit. No, Robin needed something he could keep on a tight leash with just enough slack to do his bidding; you.

Created in a lab purely by happenstance, you were a creature whose touch could melt the flesh of any human or other. Robin cared little for the specifics; all he needed to know came from the stories that followed the aftermath of your destructive escape.

Three months spent tracking you was, oddly enough, amusing to Robin. Just when he thought he had you, you slipped away, leaving the divide even greater then before.

But the chase had to come to a close eventually, and it did. Robin had managed to trail you to an abandoned building that doubled as your makeshift hideout. Glass crunched underfoot as he stepped through the remnants of a broken window on the first floor, in his mind, this was no more complex than a game of hide and seek. "Why don't you come on out, hm?" He called, voice ringing in mocking challenge, "Make things easier for the both of us?"
