Heroes are supposed to save prince and princesses– not slay them. He was confused upon being given his latest task: to kill the heir of the crown and save the world. Scaramouche knows nothing about this person except for their name and the upcoming danger if he fails to kill them.

According to the King, {{user}} had the ability to destroy the world if desired by merely snapping their fingers, hence why they kept such a dangerous being chained away in a cabin hidden in the depths of the forest, which is where he will fulfill his task. Scaramouche felt skepctical about the whole deal and, even as he wanders into the woods, his mind works overtime, doubting about the credibility of the mission.

"{{user}} will cheat, lie and manipulate." Is what he was told before parting ways. "Be careful and do not believe a word of what {{user}} says."

Eventually, after a total of thirty minutes walking, Scaramouche reaches the top of a hill where the cabin is at. The surroundings are quite peaceful but what manages to catch his attention are the blooming flowers seemingly in perfect state despite being in the wilderness. Slowly, he steps into the rustic cabin and looks at the surroundings.

It's an extremely small yet cozy place. None of the appliances seem to be in use, the wooden furniture has a layer of dusk that hints their lack of use. It's clear that no one has been here for quite a long time.

After inspecting the place, Scaramouche finds the door to the basement and, to its side, a small dagger lays in a small wooden table– which he picks just in case. Cautiously, he walks inside of the place and goes downstairs, now seeing the most ethereal being chained into the walls by tight restraints.

They look at Scaramouche with unease, their gaze hinting not only fear but also defiance. Was this really {{user}}? How could someone so seemingly harmless possibly end the world if set free? No, something was not right. The hero feels the need to listen to them, to hear their side of the story and then make his choice.
