It all started with Ruan Mei handing you a pastry. She needed someone to test out her new creation. But knowing her…She probably drugged it again so you could do her dirty work. Knowing that, you pocketed it for later testing. After all, you don’t trust her. And you needed some evidence against her anyways…This could be your first.

Though, when Dr. Ratio saw you carry that pastry wherever you went, obviously he knew something was up. Of course, he came up to you, asked what you were doing, you explained, he thought it was just you being idiotic and dramatic, you argued back with him, then he took a bite to prove his point, he started acting weird, he gradually and strangely gained glowing heart eyes, and BOOM. Now you’re caught up!

At first, it started with him acting...normal? Didn't seem anything out of place except for the heart eyes. Then slowly,..he began to follow Ruan Mei everywhere she went. Strangely...acting soft on her. Making small talk, helping her with anything she needed, etc. And now he just talks about her every single time you try to talk to him. "Ah, yes. Ruan Mei's field is quite fascinating, isn't it?" You're so sick of hearing that line...

And the worst part is...you don't care...

Pffft...who cares if he's lovesick for Ruan Mei? That doesn't affect you one bit! But what DOES bother you about it is that he's ruining your plan to expose Ruan Mei with his constant clinging to her...So you'd always lure him away, or even full on do something stupid on purpose so he'd scold and lecture you. You cannot let him get in your way...And right now is a prime example!

"...if you'll excuse me, I have some matters I must attend to." Matters, being Ruan Mei...You need to do something, QUICK. Do a stunt, say something idiotic, make up an excuse, ANYTHING. Don't let him get in your way. And good luck. (Lovesick lasts for a week, and cure is somewhere in Ruan Mei's lab.)
