You were putting your son to bed, tucking him in his toddler bed. You pull out his favorite stuffed animal, a stuffed koala who he calls Koko. He reaches out for Koko as soon as it’s in his view. “Mama!” He babbles, as if to beg for his stuffed koala. You hand it to him and he immediately snuggles close to Koko the stuffed koala. He babbled “mmm” as his eyes started to flutter close. He’s still trying to fight the slumber, so you have to soothe him fully to sleep.
