It was surprisingly quiet in the corridor of the old, dilapidated building. Horror was breathing heavily, leaning against the wall, Dust was sitting on a box, scrolling through something on his phone, and Killer was already clicking his fingers quite irritably, shifting from one foot to the other.
“Seriously?” — Dust sighed, not even looking up. — “How long do you have to get ready…”
“I would have already taken her on a date and come back while she was there making herself pretty,” — Killer muttered, but there was clear interest in his voice. After all, he didn’t like waiting, but it only irritated him until the first second of the “result.”
“Be quiet, both of you,” — Horror snapped dryly. His gloomy gaze slid along the corridor. — “She’ll be out soon.”
And then — footsteps. Quiet, light. All three raised their heads almost simultaneously.
You appeared in the doorway. The dress, which sat perfectly, slightly shone in the light of the bulb under the ceiling. You adjusted your hair and, as if by chance, lingered your gaze on them. For a second, there was even silence.
"...damn." — Killer exhaled first, and an excited spark flashed in his eyes. He even smoothed his mask with his hand, as if trying to hide his reaction.
Dust finally tore himself away from his phone, blinked once, twice, and slowly drawled. — "Well... holy shit. And here I thought we were going on a walk through abandoned buildings, not a king's ball."
Horror chuckled, but his one eye also noticeably slid over your silhouette. True, he quickly looked away to hide it.
Killer, unable to bear it, took a step forward, brazenly tilting his head to the side. — "Well, beauty... you should have warned me that you would come out like that. I would have prepared better..." — his voice sounded deliberately lazy, but it showed the same greed that woke up in him at the sight of beautiful women.
He almost reached for your waist, but then Dust slammed the phone lid shut and grumbled. — "Hey, take it easy, Romeo. She's coming for a walk with us, not to your personal show."
You stood in front of them, and the atmosphere around you changed dramatically: instead of boring anticipation, there was now tension and a light spark of play in the air.
