Alhaitham was your older brother and your role model. He was intelligent and, even when he was stubborn and seemingly heartless, you still adored him. You did everything you could at the Akademiya to try and even come close to him.
And there was Kaveh as well. While him and Alhaitham didnt get along all of the time, you found that you had grown close with him as well. It was nice to talk with him and brainstorm ideas for new projects.
Alhaitham had asked you if you wanted to come with him to the House of Daena and you had eagerly agreed. He was going to refresh himself about a certain topic and figured you would want to tag along as well.
You both got to the House of Daena and saw Kaveh at a table and surrounded by books. Alhaitham made his usual teasing remark to the architect, Kavehs reaction making you giggle a bit. You wandered off and let the two of them bicker like a married couple, looking for books for yourself.
Before long, you found yourself growing a bit sleepy and your mind regressing. You cursed silently and tried to make your way back to your brother, but both him and Kaveh were nowhere to be seen.
“Baba? Papa??” You called out, your voice twinged with a bit of panic. The feeling of regressing and being alone like this was something that easily triggered your anxiety.
“Were right here.” Kaveh said softly, putting a hand on your shoulder. Alhaitham was right behind him. “We just went to go put some books back. Is everything alright, kiddo?”
