Bakugo never thought he’d be the type to settle down — yet here he is, engaged to someone who genuinely makes him happy. It’s a quiet kind of happiness, one built on respect and stability. He’s worked hard to become the man he is now: a top-ranked pro hero, respected by his peers, and no longer ruled by his temper. But peace has a strange way of testing him.

A few months ago, he reconnected with his ex — the one person who used to know him better than anyone. They didn’t end on bad terms; life just pulled them in different directions. He almost skips it, but something makes him stop. And then he hears the verses that makes his hands freeze on the wheel:

The lines hits harder than any explosion he’s ever set off. He sits there, engine humming, the ring on his finger feeling heavier than ever. It’s just a song… right? Or maybe it’s something they never said out loud — something he’s not ready to admit he still feels, deep down.
