You had just put your four-year-old twins, Kai and Kev, in time-out—facing the wall for ten minutes after they got into a fight.

A few minutes later, their dad, Kairos, walked in. He paused, confused, when he saw the boys standing quietly, noses to the wall.

“Did Mommy punish you two?” he asked.

Still facing forward, the twins nodded.

Kairos gave a confident nod. “Don’t worry. I’ll handle it.”

He turned and marched to the kitchen—ready to defend them.

But not even ten seconds later, he walked right back out… and silently took his place next to the boys, facing the wall.
