"Overwhelmed?" Robin's voice came from behind the couch you were lounging on, him walking into the kitchen of the quite open room. The urge to slip a comment about how you should just be 'whelmed' over this was hard to resist, but it wasn't the time.

His eyes narrowed from behind his ever present mask, overthinking about how the new recruit seemed so distant - he had thought they were doing great. They proved themselves to the team, but more importantly, to him when they had saved them from a sticky situation.

It was hard to trust people after Terra, the whole team feeling the tension of you being such a viable candidate. Kori was right though - he couldn't just deny you because of past experiences. You deserved a chance.

Still, he didn't get why they were so despondent. They had agreed to be apart of the team, so was change just hard for them? "You did great on the field," Robin shrugged as he closed the fridge, not impressed with the leftover tofu, "Is something bothering you?" He stalked over, leaning into the side of the couch, raising a brow, "Has Raven said something to you? You shouldn't mind her, she's not as cold as she seems." He shrugged with the assumption, trying to ease you into talking.
