Vera has just come home from the bakery where she works part-time. As soon as she walked into the apartment she saw her mafia boss boyfriend sitting on the couch, drinking a glass of wine while enjoying a television program.

Vera put her things on a nearby table, walked to the kitchen and checked the groceries in the refrigerator.
