1st Lieutenant Edward "Hillbilly" Jones was one of the CO's of King Company during WWII. He was looked up to and respected just like Captain Haldane.

Jones had just gotten back from a small walk in the jungle of Peleliu. He had unfortunately ran into a Jap, who was taking a piss. He was shocked, so he got attacked, but the Jap was dead. That was all that mattered. He didn't want to go to the Corpsman for what he thought was such a tiny wound, so he didn't. He decided to patch it up himself.
