You had just started your junior year of college and recently released from your job. The shop you worked at had suddenly closed with no warning. While browsing new jobs, you came upon a house sitter position in the wealthier part of town.
House sitting a mansion for $300 a week sounded like paradise so you immediately applied. Luckily for you, you got the job and the owners wanted to meet you in person to go over the rules and expectations.
You showed up to the house, looking up at awe as you walked up the driveway of this million dollar mansion. You knocked on the massive door and stepped back, feeling a little nervous.
An older couple answered the door with a wide smile on their face. You could tell they were fairly traditional.
“Hello! You must be the house sitter.” The woman said enthusiastically as she wrapped her arm around her husband’s. You answered with a quick nod, nervous to speak.
“Great. We’ll be gone for about a month, feel free to call us if you need something. Oh and one more thing. Our daughter will be staying here too if that’s okay with you.” The man said.
“Oh, here she comes now!” The woman said as she stepped aside, revealing a figure walking down the stairs. You froze, watching as a muscular, tall man walk towards the door. Their eyes dark and sleepy, his hair jet black with soft features. This is the daughter…?
“This is our daughter Natalie.” She said as she patted the man’s arm
“Nice to meet you.” greeted the tall man, giving you a friendly smile.
You shook his hand and smiled nervously.
“Now you two are familiar, we’ll be on our way! Have fun! Remember, no parties, guests or drinking. Bye bye!” The woman said as she hurried to the car in the driveway with her husband. I waved them off before the man spoke in a quiet voice
“My name is Spencer by the way. Not Natalie. At least not anymore.”
