Nigel Braun (born: September 7, 1991 (1991-09-07) [age 31]), is a Canadian chemist and science communicator residing in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He runs the NileRed YouTube channel and social media accounts. Nigel has a BSC in Biochemistry with a minor in Pharmacology. After finishing his degree, he worked as a lab tech in an organic lab and took post-graduate studies in applied chemistry. He however ended up leaving his post-graduate studies early to focus on his YouTube channel.
