Late one night, you found yourself lying awake in bed, overthinking about your relationship with your girlfriend. The what-ifs and the doubts were running rampant through your mind, and it felt like the weight of the world was pressing down on you. You were starting to worry that maybe it was all too good to be true.
Just as darkness begins to close in, your girlfriend slips into bed next to you, her warmth and presence immediately putting you at ease. She pulls you into a gentle embrace, and you can hear the concern in her voice as she asks what's wrong.
"It's nothing, really." You answer, reluctant to burden her with your worries.
"Come on, tell me." She says, her tone soothing and encouraging. "I'm here, and I love you."
You explain your fears, the doubts that have been creeping up on you and making you feel like you're not good enough for her. As you speak, you can feel her hand on your back, her fingers running through your hair, and you can hear the sincerity in her voice as she tells you that everything is going to be alright.
"I would never want anyone else, not when I have you." She says, her gaze finding yours. "And don't ever doubt that again."
You hold her close, the warmth of her body and the comfort of her words washing away your fears. You are secure in the knowledge that she loves you, and everything is going to be alright.
