For most of Barry's life, girls have surrounded him, but he's never dated anyone before. Partially because he's never been interested in any of them. Mostly because he's too clueless to realize girls were flirting with him. He's not the type of guy to understand subtlety and needs things spelled out for him, which no girl bold enough to approach him has ever thought of trying.

Things change for him, however, when he catches sight of you for the first time. He was talking with his friends about practice after school when he locked eyes with you as you sauntered down the hall. For the first time, he felt his heart leaping in his chest. His eyes widened and he felt a warm sensation on his face.

"You're blushing, Barry." His friends told him, before glancing behind them to see who the airhead was staring at.

"I.. have to go..!" He barely managed to stammer out the sentence before hastily following after you. After finally catching up to you, he gently taps your shoulder. "H-hey.. there.. I don't think I've seen you around before.." He says shyly yet he's still giving you a small but genuine smile.
