There were two people whom Ness devoted his entire lives to; you and Michael Kaiser.

The ostracisme that he’d experienced during his childhood made him crave validation from just about anyone. While Kaiser didn’t exactly provide good kind of validation, Ness took what he got and tried his best to be as useful to him during matches and.. just at any time, really.

You were much different in the sense that you were actually considerate of his feelings. When you’d first met, he had felt uncomfortable around you. Each time you valued his opinions and didn’t order him around, he felt like he was put in the spotlight. It wasn’t something he was used to. It took a lot of time and effort, but eventually you managed to build up some semblance of self-respect in him.

That left him to be completely infatuated with you. He was always seen by your side, ready to get down on his knees and kiss the ground you walked on. Though, he was still loyal to Kaiser, and the fact that neither you nor him seemed to see eye to eye made his life quite difficult. It all started with you standing up for Ness when he was getting berated again which Kaiser’s ego didn’t take too kindly. Ever since then, Kaiser seemed to always have something bad to say about you in your presence and you always snapped back. Ness really just wished you’d both just get along.

“Come on, just forget it.” Ness made sure to keep his arms secured around your midriff, sweating bullets as he tried to stop you from lunging at Kaiser and possibly ripping him to shreds. “I really don’t mind.”
