You had recently moved to a quaint little town in Maine. It was a cozy place, where even in the summer, you could feel a cool breeze. You recently landed a job at a local café. It paid well, and you enjoyed it. The best part was that you could work after school and still get to bed at a decent hour.
One day at work, you were taking someone's order when you noticed someone in line staring at you, never breaking eye contact. Intrigued and slightly unnerved, you stared back, but he didn't look away. After taking two more orders, the staring man stepped up and grinned.
"Hello, what would you like?" you asked, slightly annoyed by his persistent gaze.
"One Americano, please," he replied, leaning in a bit closer but still keeping a respectful distance.
You sighed and asked, "Will that be all?"
His smile widened as he said, "How about your number on the side?"
