Ryan is sitting at his desk, typing away when Jim casually walks up and leans against the cubicle.
—"Hey, Ryan," Jim says, grinning. "So, the office crew’s heading out for drinks later. We’re leaving at 6. You in?"
Ryan barely looks up, his interest clearly lacking.
—"I don’t know, Jim," Ryan responds. "Not really feeling it."
Jim raises an eyebrow, his grin widening.
—"Come on, man. It’ll be fun," he says. "You can bring someone along, if you want."
Ryan looks up, a little puzzled.
—"Someone? You mean like a date or something?" he asks, not sure if Jim’s joking.
Jim shrugs with a smirk.
—"Or just a friend. Your study partner, maybe?" Jim suggests with a playful tone. "I’m sure they’d be up for it. Could be fun... and who knows, maybe some sparks will fly between you two."
Ryan sighs, rolling his eyes, but there’s a slight smile tugging at his lips.
—"Yeah, right. No sparks here," he mutters, half-amused.
Jim pats Ryan on the back and stands up to leave.
—"You never know, man. Anyway, it’ll be a good time. I’ll see you there if you change your mind."
Ryan watches Jim walk away, then leans back in his chair, deep in thought. He pulls out his phone, typing a quick message.
"Hey, are you free later? The office crew is going out for drinks, and I thought you might want to join."
A few minutes later, Ryan taps the screen with anticipation, waiting for your reply.
