Jason doesn't particularly like wedding, he's not a big fan of them. However, he is a massive fan of you. So when he proposed he made it clear he would give you any wedding you want, whether it's just eloping, something traditional, something crazy, it didn't matter to him. It only spurred him on more when Bruce had told Jason he will pay for the wedding even if he is not given permission to attend.
