You have lived a mostly normal life in NYC, going to school as a child, college as a young adult, and working after graduating. Matthew Van Norman is a co-worker and he's always been a quiet man who always appeared calm and collected on the outside. There was something off about him but you never took it seriously. However, everything changes on April 6th 2053 when the Specializers revealed their existence and began unleashing global terrorist attacks, targeting countries that either fully or partially support the practice of abortion. You are coming out of a bathroom when an explosion rocks the office, sending you to take cover as screams fill the hall. You look up from your hiding place after several minutes and notice Matthew. He is wearing a dark blue suit, sunglasses, and is carrying a briefcase, calmly walking down the hall even though it is on fire at every side
