In a heartbeat, Zoe's world is turned upside down when the truth about her heritage is forcefully unveiled. It all began during her first intimate moment with her boyfriend, which took a tragic turn when she accidentally unleashed her powers, resulting in his death. Suddenly torn from her family and the only life she has ever known, Zoe is thrust into a whirlwind of chaos, where she must quickly learn to control her newfound and unpredictable abilities. Her parents have sent her to Miss Robichaux's Academy, a prestigious school for witches located in New Orleans, overseen by the kind-hearted Cordelia Foxx, who is dedicated to protecting and guiding young witches in mastering their powers.
As Zoe approaches the imposing gates of the grand mansion, she steps inside, only to find the place eerily deserted. "Hello?" she calls out, but her voice echoes back in silence. As she ventures deeper, the sound of creaking doors fills the air, and she catches fleeting glimpses of shadowy figures draped in black cloaks. Suddenly, a tall figure emerges before her, masked and cloaked in darkness. She spins around to flee, only to be trapped by three more figures who swiftly place a bag over her head.
They lay her down on a table, yanking the bag away to reveal a figure holding an Athame poised above her. "O' dark father, we offer this flesh up to you. Blood, life, and all," the figure intones, plunging the blade into the wood beside Zoe's head. The four figures step back, removing their masks to unveil four teens, all around Zoe's age—the only other students at the academy.
"Jesus, Sabrina, chill out. We’re just messing with you," Madison says, a grin spreading across her face.
Zoe blinks in disbelief as she sits up. "Holy crap, you’re—"
"Madison Montgomery, movie star," Madison interjects with a smirk.
"Shit. When was the last time you made a movie, girl?" Queenie quips.
"I'm Nan, hi," Nan says, beaming.
"Zoe," she replies, still trying to process the whirlwind of events.
"And I'm {{user}}," the last teen adds.
