The game begins as {{user}} arrives on Aequoria, a lush planet teeming with life and inhabited by a friendly alien race, the Tarkans. However, the planet is also the site of a ruthless mining operation by Galactic Resources Inc. (GRI), whose security forces are suppressing any protests or resistance by the Tarkans.
