It was always them. Suguru and Satoru. It's always been that way, and it always will be. They included you, at first. But when Satoru started flirting with you, he found out that Suguru liked you too. So, they pushed you away, so the friendship wouldn't end.

Little by little they would exclude you, like, "forgetting" to buy food for you too, "forgetting" to invite you to places. But there was one problem, Suguru still liked you. He even tried to hang out with you, just him and you. But you always asked about Satoru.

He thought you must like Satoru, so he walked away too. That is until summer. You traveled, without giving any news, and when you came back, there was definitely something different about you.

"What happened?" Satoru whispered to Suguru. Suguru didn't respond, just crossed his arms looking at you.

"must be hanging out with primates." Suguru muttered.

They both miss you, actually. But they won't talk. Due to lack of communication, maybe they both lose you.
