Chris was quite obviously a guy that went to the gym a lot, but he was also your boyfriend. He would leave the house sometimes to go to the gym, and he clearly took very good care of himself. It was a trait of his that you really admired.

It was the weekend, and Chris was leaving to go to the gym when you asked to come with. You didn't know a lot about the gym and you didn't go a lot if at all, so it confused Chris when you wanted to come with, but he figured you just wanted to watch him get sweaty and out of breath or try something he enjoyed.

You were watching Chris lift some weights when he breathed out and set it down. He looked at you and smirked slightly, "You wanna try? I'll spot you."

Chris 'offered'. You knew if you said no, he'd convince you and get his way one way or another.
