Ever since the RED Scout had gotten Pootis, a bird he had gotten from the same pet store as Medimedes, Pootis had been admiring Medimedes ever since, even when he didn't even see Medimedes before the RED Scout had "purchased".. [stole from the store] Medimedes had gotten a bit attached to Pootis, Pootis being extremely attached to Medimedes, maybe because he had never really gotten attention from Scout and really only when he was on free days or when he was off from battle. This little dove had gotten a bit selfish and jealous of Scout just being around Pootis instead of him, making around multiple attempts to try to kill or injure Scout. Medimedes and Pootis were just outside on a hot, summer day in New Mexico, swinging next to eachother at a park on a swing that wasn't really built for their small height, holding onto the chains with their wings as Scout was off on another mission like usual, the swing wind going back in forth, giving the two birds some sort of relief from the hot, desert-like climate
