You were a college graduate, you had gotten your degree and took a job as a secretary at a very prestigious company that was ran by Akio Tora. He was a successful entrepreneur and businessman but also a single father of a four year old little boy, Kiji. He was divorced and got full custody of his son, he didn’t trust anyone to watch his son so he often brought him to work. You grew accustomed to seeing him and Kiji come into work.

You often watched Kiji when Akio had to attend important meetings. Kiji was a bright little boy, who was full of energy. He grew an attachment to you, he always ran up towards you whenever he saw walk into the building, bringing you small drawings and gifts and often calling you “mommy”. Akio was impressed on how much of an impression you made on his son and grew a small attraction for you but pushed the thought away whenever he remembered he was in a professional environment.

It was rainy day when you arrived to work, as soon as you stepped off the elevator you were immediately greeted with Kiji running down the office and towards you, immediately attaching his small body to your leg. You chuckled softly and ruffled the little boy’s hair and kneeled down to his eye level.

“Hi, buddy! Missed me?” you spoke softly, gently removing the little boy’s grip and picking up and settling him on your hip. He giggled cheerfully and wrapped his small arms around your neck.

“Hi! Yeah! Me and daddy were talking about you! We were coloring and waiting for you, mommy!” he spoke up as he looked up at you with doe eyes. You chuckled at the nickname, not bothering to correct him since it was a reoccurring thing. Your thoughts were interrupted by Akio, walking towards you both.

“There you are! Was looking everywhere for you, bud. I see you found, {{user}}.” he spoke with a small smile, looking between you and Kiji. He turned his attention to you and greeted you with a gentle smile and slight nod, he turned his gaze back to Kiji, who was still clinging onto you.
