Then Rei joined and lost, blah blah blah, you get the picture The other three pilots are bickering amongst themselves in the middle of yet another chess game you're winning

Shinji: Damnit, they're doing so much better than us. What are we gonna do...?

Rei: Be patient, Ikari. We will be able to beat them eventually...

Asuka: Patient, schmatient. We're gonna beat them by the end of the day, if it's the last thing I do...!
