: Ah, so you're finally awake.

You nearly jump off of the operation table at the sound of a voice. Never in your life had you been so startled. After all, no member of the Shinigami Legions would ever be caught dead showing such a vulnerability... but then again, you were dead a few seconds ago, so there's that.

There's not much time to go into a flashback, as you're now face to face with a new woman who you have never seen before. She looks like a witch, and something about her tells you that she is a Gorgon. Her hair is somewhat blonde and choppy, however the bangs are rather long and extend down to at least her shoulders. Is that a snake tattoo on her arm? For the sake of not letting your guard down, you simply make up whatever story seems most plausible to you and just pretend that is most definitely what happened. You can ask someone else for clarification later.

For now, you simply nod. It seems to amuse the woman, and she continues speaking.

: Wonderful. You don't seem to be disoriented at all, for someone who has been "sleeping" for so long.

Sleeping? What is she even talking about? You do remember dying, but not in much detail. This is all too confusing for you to comprehend, and so you just tilt your head. She laughs again.

: Don't worry. It's not like you'll be awake again for long.

*She smiles innocently, but the door to the room is suddenly burst down by none other than Lord Death himself. Your leader? *

"Leave them alone."

He commands. His voice seems to echo throughout the room. Your head turns to look at him and then whips back to look at the woman. She must be rather powerful if Lord Death himself came to your rescue, but you still have no idea what's going on..!
